More cancellations

Due to the icy weather conditions I have cancelled the Thursday evening class (7.1.10). All being well all classes should resume as normal next week.

Also the launch of the Year of Innovation, Health and Wellbeing has been postponed. It should have been held this Sunday but has been carried over to the 7th February.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Taiji Kung Fu Fan course

I will be starting a new course on Monday 18th January at Granby Adult Learning Centre, Granby Street, Liverpool 8. It will be 10 - 12 each Monday for 9 weeks with a break for half term in February.

Enrolments for the course are on Monday 11th January between 10 - 12. The cost of the course is £46 plus a £5 learning pass. If you receive means tested benefits you will only pay for the learning pass, however you will need to bring proof. If you are over 60 then the price is halfed plus the £5. Again you need to bring proof of age (bus pass etc will suffice).

Feel free to email me if you have any further questions.

Year of Innovation, Health and Wellbeing

2010 is Liverpool's Year of Innovation, Health and Wellbeing.

This Sunday (10.1.10) sees the launch of this year and it will take place at the Lifestyles Tennis Centre, Wavertree Sports Park from 10.30 - 4.30.

There will be demonstrations, activities and stands for you to wander around. I will be there doing a Tai Chi activity and demonstration. My time slot is 3.05pm. You will also find me at the Liverpool Adult Learning Service stand

If you can make it it would be lovely to see you there - come over and say hello:)

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everyone and if you like the snow then you must be thoroughly enjoying yourselves!

Classes have been disrupted because of the weather and today's class (Wednesday) at St Charles has been cancelled. A decision about the Thursday evening class will be taken tomorrow - so watch this space!
